Day 1 - Hanoi Arrival

Arrive at Noi Bai Airport in Hanoi and receive a warm welcome before private transfer to your hotel. If time permits, enjoy a gentle walking tour around Hoan Kiem Lake and, when schedule allows, a traditional water puppet performance. In the evening, enjoy a welcome dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 2 - Hanoi Family Tour

Begin with a visit to Bat Trang, one of Vietnam's most famous pottery villages. Walk through the lanes, observe ceramic production in family workshops, and, where possible, let children join in one stage of making pottery to take home as a souvenir. After lunch, continue with the Temple of Literature, Vietnam's first university and an elegant introduction to Hanoian culture, followed by the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology to learn about the country's ethnic diversity. End the day with a cyclo ride around Hoan Kiem Lake before returning to your hotel. Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 3 - Hanoi - Ha Long Bay

Around 8:00 am, travel east to Ha Long Bay and board a traditional-style junk for an overnight cruise. Ha Long Bay is widely regarded as one of the world's great natural seascapes, with thousands of limestone pillars rising from emerald water. After lunch, explore caves and visit a floating fishing village. The captain then finds a quieter spot for swimming, sunbathing on deck, or kayaking, depending on weather and cruise conditions. In the evening, enjoy a seafood dinner on board. Overnight on the junk.

Day 4 - Ha Long Bay - Hanoi - Fly to Hue

If weather allows, enjoy an early swim before breakfast while cruising through more of the bay's remarkable scenery. Disembark around midday and transfer directly to the airport for your flight to Hue. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel and enjoy free time. Overnight in Hue.

Day 5 - Hue City Tour

Discover Hue, Vietnam's former imperial capital on the banks of the Perfume River. In the morning, take a scenic boat ride and visit Thien Mu Pagoda and the Minh Mang Mausoleum. In the afternoon, explore the Citadel, including the Imperial City, the Forbidden Purple City, and the former royal residence area, modeled in part on Beijing's Forbidden City. Continue to Dong Ba Market, one of Hue's most vibrant local markets. Overnight in Hue.

Day 6 - Hue - Hoi An

After breakfast, travel south to Hoi An over the Hai Van Pass, with magnificent coastal views. Stop at Lang Co for a break and visit the Cham Museum and Marble Mountains en route. Upon arrival in Hoi An, enjoy a walking tour of this ancient trading town, including the Tan Ky House, Phuc Kien Pagoda, the Assembly Hall, former merchants' houses, the Japanese Covered Bridge, and the colorful riverside market. Overnight in Hoi An.

Day 7 - Hoi An - Cycling to Tra Que Village

Cycle with your guide to Tra Que, one of Hoi An's best-known vegetable villages. Stroll through the gardens, then join local farmers in preparing the land, fertilizing with seaweed from the nearby lake, raking, sowing, watering, and harvesting vegetables. After a short rest and foot bath, help prepare lunch with a local family, tasting regional dishes such as Tam Huu spring rolls and banh xeo pancakes. Following a traditional post-lunch rest, learn how to harvest and wrap vegetables before returning to your hotel around mid-afternoon. Overnight in Hoi An.

Day 8 - Hoi An Free Day

Enjoy a free day in Hoi An for shopping, exploring the Old Town, cycling in the countryside, or relaxing on the beach. Overnight in Hoi An.

Day 9 - Hoi An - Da Nang - Fly to Ho Chi Minh City

Leave Hoi An for a morning flight from Da Nang to Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam's energetic southern metropolis. After a short rest, enjoy a half-day city tour including the Reunification Palace, Notre Dame Cathedral, the Central Post Office, the War Remnants Museum, and Ben Thanh Market. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 10 - Ho Chi Minh City - Mekong Delta Excursion

Travel into the Mekong Delta and visit the colorful floating market area around Cai Be. Board a boat to cruise among local barges filled with fruit and vegetables, then visit home workshops producing rice paste, rice popcorn, and coconut candies. After lunch in a local ancient house, continue by rowboat through narrow canals and village waterways before returning to Ho Chi Minh City in the late afternoon. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 11 - Ho Chi Minh City - Cu Chi Tunnels - Fly to Siem Reap

This morning visit the Cu Chi tunnels, an extraordinary underground network built by Vietnamese resistance fighters during the long struggle for independence. The site includes trapdoors, living areas, storage facilities, field hospitals, command centers, and kitchens. Later, transfer to the airport for the short flight to Siem Reap. Upon arrival, check in at your hotel and, in the late afternoon, enjoy sunset at Phnom Bakheng. Overnight in Siem Reap.

Day 12 - Siem Reap - Angkor Highlighted Temples

Visit the early Angkor-era temples of the Roluos group, including Lo Lei, Preah Koh, and Bakong, among the earliest monuments in the Angkor area. After lunch with a local family, continue to Banteay Srei, a smaller but magnificent 10th-century temple famed for its finely carved pink sandstone reliefs. On the return journey, visit Banteay Samre, adorned with impressive scenes from Vishnu and Krishna legends. Overnight in Siem Reap.

Day 13 - Siem Reap - Angkor Tours

Begin early at Ta Prohm, where tree roots weave through stone walls in one of Angkor's most atmospheric settings. Continue to Angkor Wat, one of the world's most impressive temple complexes, still adorned with fine Apsara carvings from the Angkorian era. Return to the hotel for breakfast and rest through the midday heat, then continue in the afternoon to Angkor Thom, including the Bayon with its enigmatic stone faces, the Baphuon, Elephant Terrace, Leper King Terrace, the Royal Palace area, and Preah Khan.
